Flexible working extension back

Having flirted with delaying the planned extension to the right to request flexible working, the Government has now confirmed that April will see an estimated 4.5 million extra employees brought into the entitlement.

Currently only those employees with children under the age of 6, disabled children under the age of 18 or adult dependents have the right to request flexible working. The extension will see all parents of children below 16 given the right.
